Samsung’s next-gen Galaxy S10 that is expected to be showcased officially during the Unpacked event on February 20, could be called Galaxy S10e. At this juncture, it is worth noting that rumour mills have been abuzz from a while about Samsung unveiling multiple variants of the purported Galaxy S10 next-gen smartphone.
Now, new rumours (translated) are hinting that the Unpacked event would witness the launch of a Galaxy S10e, along with that of a Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus. At this point in time, there are also rumours about a 5G variant of the smartphone being showcased but at some point in the near future.
Here, it also does a world of good to understand that the February 20 Unpacked event is important, apart from the product launches, due to the fact that 5G technology showcasing (on a prototype at minimum) is highly expected to take place. Now, 5G could be commercially deployed only by 2020 in select countries, but multiple pilots of the next-gen technology have already been carried out in the United States of America (USA) by prominent wireless carriers.
The latest rumour about the nomenclature of the Galaxy S10 variant - the Galaxy S10e derives substance from rumour mills earlier - multiple of which also apparently hinted about the Galaxy S10 variant having gone into mass production. Hence, you could share your thoughts on expectations from the purported Galaxy S10e.
In other Samsung related updates, the highly expected Galaxy M30 handset is all set to launch before the end of February. This device is a mid-range that could reportedly be affordable to own.
