Vivo V15 Pro full design leaked ahead of February 20 India launch
The USP of the Vivo V15 Pro will be its pop-up selfie camera and being a V-series phone means it will most likely carry a mainstream price tag
Vivo is gearing to launch a new phone called the Vivo V15 Pro in India on February 20. The USP of the Vivo V15 Pro will be its pop-up selfie camera and being a V-series phone means it will most likely carry a mainstream price tag. Promotional render of the alleged Vivo V15 Pro has leaked online ahead of its February 20 India launch, giving a good look of what could be in store. Moreover, Vivo is said to start taking pre-orders from February 15 itself, and the phone is expected to cost under Rs 25,000.
Vivo is hosting a press conference in the National Capital on February 20 where it is likely to announce the Vivo V11 Pro successor that has been subject of multiple leaks and rumours for a while now. Case renders of the phone in question recently hinted the Vivo V15 Pro will come with a triple rear camera setup and a pop-up selfie camera. The block your date invite sent out by Vivo confirms the pop-up selfie camera aspect.
So does the leaked render. This pop-up selfie camera is said to have a resolution of 32MP. The leaked render also confirms the triple rear camera setup (with dual LED flash) although specifications of these three cameras aren’t known yet. Another thing highlighted by the leaked render is the presence of an in-display fingerprint scanner much like how it was in the Vivo V11 Pro. Should the Vivo V15 Pro come with an in-display fingerprint scanner, a pop-up selfie cam and triple rear cameras, it would become the first of its kind device to rock such a feature set at its price point.
The purported sub Rs 25,000 price could make it an interesting product. Even more so, since its predecessor, the Vivo V11 Pro, has done well in the country.
Sister brand Oppo is meanwhile also gearing to launch a phone called the Oppo K1 in India which will pack an in-display fingerprint scanner possibly for even less.
