If you are an aspiring Vodafone prepaid subscriber, do check at official channels for the Rs 351 first recharge (FRC) that offers unlimited benefits. The plan’s 56 validity period is also potentially worth noting.
Now, as per a TelecomTalk report, the Vodafone Rs 351 FRC is now live. This prepaid package, applicable to only new prepaid subscribers. Benefits of the plan reportedly include the likes of free + unlimited calling, along with 100 free text messages, in a day, for a period of 56 days. Apparently, there would be no data benefits in the Rs 351 FRC package.
At this juncture, the Rs 351 scheme is an open-market package, but TelecomTalk states that the price of this scheme is likely to vary slightly based on the telecom circle.
As the flurry of “long validity and semi long validity recharge schemes” for prepaid users continue, in a potential network loyalty bid (by telcos),Vodafone also recently rolled out the Rs 1999 scheme for its Kerala prepaid subscribers. This is a bonus offering, and not an FRC, and comes with benefits such as 365-days validity, unlimited + free voice calling along with free roaming, 100 text messages in a day.
Not only Vodafone, almost all major telcos viz BSNL, Airtel, and even Reliance Jio have joined the 365-day unlimited benefits recharge scheme bandwagon as far as their prepaid subscribers are concerned. USP of these schemes is that they save users from monthly recharge hassles whilst getting to experience a host of benefits. While rumour mills have pegged these benefits as resulting out of an apparent competition amongst existing telcos with Jio, we think that these unlimited offers are still useful as far as offering seamless and continuity of wireless services are concerned. In the end, customers’ satisfaction is undoubtedly of utmost importance.
