Xiaomi overtakes Facebook, Tesla, Twitter on Fortune 50 list for 2019
Xiaomi has now found place in the Fortune 50 list for 2019. It is placed in the seventh position in the Fortune 50 2019 listings, overtaking other tech giants.

Xiaomi has now found a place in the Fortune 50 list for 2019. This is based on the market potential, and its evaluated ability to deliver output corresponding to inherent potential. These are the factors for the Fortune 50 list.
Xiaomi overtakes other tech biggies
Xiaomi is placed in the seventh position in the Fortune 50 2019 listings. The rating system assigns scores to companies based on the above factors. This marks the Chinese smartphone’s debut in the Fortune 50 listings. “To identify the Future 50, BCG examined 1,100 publicly traded companies with at least $20 billion in market value or $10 billion in revenue in the 12 months through the end of 2017. A company’s final score represents its outperformance across the following metrics when compared with peers of a similar size,” stated Xiaomi in an official blog post.
Here, it is interesting to note that the latest Fortune 50 list comprises of mostly technology companies. Xiaomi’s is the only smartphone (consumer) company amongst the entries. The top slot here is held by Workday, while the tenth position is taken by Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Interestingly, companies like Tesla and Alphabet are placed below Xiaomi at the forty-eighth and eighteenth positions respectively. Check out below, the total list (Fortune 50) from first to tenth:

The Redmi Note 8’s price starts from Rs 9999, whereas the Redmi Note 8 Pro has a starting price of Rs 14999 respectively.
