Over the last few months, T-Series made headlines due to its long-fought battle with the most popular and controversial YouTuber Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg aka PewDiePie to stay ahead in the race of most-subscribed-to channel on YouTube. Right now, T-Series has more than 13,400 videos (trailer and music videos) uploaded on its YouTube channel.

With this achievement, T-Series has now emerged as the victor in its virtual war against PewDiePie, who currently has 96million subscribers. This win for T-Series is a big one and it also officially puts an end to the high-voltage drama between the two channels.

PewDiePie is one of the OGs of YouTube and an independent content creator, who has managed to be at the top for many years. Apart from being the most popular youtuber, PewDiePie is also by far the most controversial YouTuber of all time. In the video of the Christchurch mosque shooting that was live-streamed on Facebook in March, the attacker referenced “subscribe to PewDiePie,” a mention that was made popular by the YouTuber to stay ahead of T-series.

Recently, TIME magazine named Indian YouTuber Ajey Nagar aka CarryMinati among its Next Generation Leaders 2019 list. The list consists of 10 young people from around the world.
