Clashes in Bengal’s Bhangar Before Last Phase Of Polls | TMC Workers Allegedly Attacked By ISF

In a shocking incident, local TMC leader Rafiq Khan and his fellow party workers were allegedly bombarded by ISF members in Bhangar on May 30. The attack occurred as Khan and his team were returning home after a political program. Five TMC workers sustained severe injuries in the attack. Initially, they were admitted to Jirangachha Block Primary Health Centre but were later transferred to SSKM Hospital in Kolkata for advanced treatment. Jadavpur LS constituency TMC candidate Saayoni Ghosh, accompanied by West Bengal Power Minister Aroop Biswas, visited SSKM Hospital to check on the injured workers' conditions. The Kolkata Police have arrested one person in connection with the incident, as investigations continue into the attack.
