The warm aesthetic of Indian cinema which makes its legacy markedly different from that of grand old Hollywood has often been borrowed by the latter. Be it the fort-clad expanses of Rajasthan, the lush locales of Kerala and Delhi or even the rocky terrains of the country's hill stations - Hollywood has romanticised it all on film.
