Delhi Rain Havoc: Under-Construction Wall Collapse Claims 3 Lives, All Bodies Recovered

An under-construction wall collapsed in New Delhi’s Vasant Vihar amid heavy rains on June 28. The wall collapse resulted in 3 workers falling in a pit at the site. The collapse was worsened by the heavy rainfall. The rains resulted in trees falling into basement pit where labourers’ temporary huts were. The DDMA and the fire department conducted the rescue operations. The bodies of all three labourers were retrieved by NDRF on June 29.
