Amid public outrage over the Odisha assault case, Odisha 's police leadership saw a major reshuffle. Pinak Mishra has been appointed as Bhubaneswar DCP, while Prateek Singh is now the Cuttack (Rural) SP. In total, 23 SPs were transferred across Odisha , and the commissioner and deputy commissioner in Bhubaneswar have been replaced as part of the overhaul.
