The CBI remand copy accessed by Republic TV in the RG Kar case has revealed how Mamata Banerjee 's aide and former RG Kar Medical College principal, Sandip Ghosh, tried to downplay the death of the trainee doctor and delayed filing of the FIR by 14 hours. Sandip Ghosh has been remanded to CBI custody in the Abhaya case investigation. The fingers point to a larger plot to cover-up the case. Sandip Ghosh is also being investigated for cases of financial fraud linked to RG Kar hospital.
