After North Korea flew more than a thousand balloons to drop trash on South Korea for weeks, South Korea retaliated by broadcasting anti-North Korean propaganda over its loudspeakers at the border the first time in years. On Monday, South Korean military said that North Korea started installing its own speakers but as of Tuesday, North Korea has not started anti-South Korea propaganda broadcasts. North Korea said its trash-carrying balloons launched toward the South was a retaliation against South Korean civilian activists who fly anti-Pyongyang propaganda leaflets across the border.
