Spain beat England in the EURO 2024 final to become European champions for the 4th time. Spain took the spoils, defeating England 2-1 on July 14. For England, it was a chance to break the curse since 1966. However, the ‘Three Lions’ failed miserably. The defeat left the English fans disheartened and in tears. Ahead of the clash, fans were spirited & certain that the cup was coming home. On the day, it was goals from Nico Williams & Mikel Oyarzabal that gave Spain the victory.
