The 2025 edition of the IPL mega auction has not yet been announced as the dates are yet to be finalised, but there are plenty of rumours doing the rounds on the same. In this video, R Sport Fit analyses some of the rumours that have been most prominent including those surrounding the number of player retentions as well as the use of Right to Match (RTM) cards. There is also some debate over an old rule making a comeback that could well help the Chennai Super Kings retain icon MS Dhoni for a much cheaper price.
