Lando Norris and Max Verstappen were once again involved in an incident at the Mexican GP, but this time it was the defending Formula 1 world champion who came off worse. Verstappen was handed not one but two 10-second penalties, meaning he could only finish 6th and saw his lead to Norris cut to 47 points. Norris was unable to win but finished second despite the on-track skirmish between the two championship rivals.
