Elon Musk Buys $35M Texas Mansion for His 11 Kids and Their Mothers: Report

Elon Musk has grabbed headlines once again, this time for acquiring a huge mansion in Texas reportedly designed to accommodate his large family of 11 kids and two of their mothers.

According to recent reports, the tech billionaire bought a 14,400-square-foot mansion, intending to create a shared space for his 11 children and two of their mothers.

In addition to this luxurious main residence, Musk has reportedly acquired a neighboring property. The purchase aims to bring his younger children closer, allowing them to spend more time together, with Musk coordinating shared family time across the properties.

One of the mothers, Shivon Zilis, an executive at Musk's brain-tech company Neuralink has reportedly moved into one of the homes with their two-year-old twins, Strider and Azure, and a third child reportedly born earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Canadian singer and artist Claire Boucher, aka Grimes who shares three children with Musk: four-year-old X AE A-XII, and two-year-old twins Exa Dark Sideræl and Techno Mechanicus is believed to be the second mother.

However, amid an ongoing custody dispute, Grimes has chosen to maintain distance.

Musk, who shares five children with his first wife, Justine Wilson, has long been known for his unconventional family dynamics.

Musk and Wilson were married from 2000 to 2008, and together they had twins Griffin and Vivian, born in 2004, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, born in 2006. Their first child, Nevada, tragically passed away in 2002. It remains uncertain whether Musk’s older children will join the Texas compound, though the property is reportedly large enough to host them if they wish.

Musk himself resides in a separate mansion, located just ten minutes away from his new estate in Austin, Texas.
