Elon Musk Claims Jeff Bezos Predicted Trump's Loss, Amazon CEO Denies in Rare Post
Jeff Bezos responded to Musk's post, denying the allegation in a rare X post.
Viral News: Tesla CEO and Head of DOGE, Elon Musk, took a jab at Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos recently. According to Musk's claims, the Amazon founder told "everyone" to sell their Tesla and SpaceX shares because Donald Trump would lose "for sure."
"Just learned tonight at Mar-a-Lago that Jeff Bezos was telling everyone @realDonaldTrump would lose for sure, so they should sell all their Tesla and SpaceX stock," his X post read.
The Amazon CEO responded to the post, denying the allegation in a rare X post.
"Nope. 100% not true," Bezos wrote.
Musk replied to Bezos, saying, "Well, then, I stand corrected," followed by a laughing emoji.
Jeff's Message to Trump
The Amazon CEO extended a congratulatory message to U.S. President-elect Trump after the outcome. In a post on X on November 6, Bezos wrote, "Big congratulations to our 45th and now 47th President on an extraordinary political comeback and decisive victory. No nation has bigger opportunities. Wishing @realDonaldTrump all success in leading and uniting the America we all love."
Internet Reacts
The internet is loving the subtle jibes between two of the richest men in the world.
A user jokingly asked, "When's the cage match?"
Another suggested, "You guys should box it out—would be more interesting than Paul/Tyson fight."
"Literally just said out loud in my car, thinking about Elon’s tweet, that I was disappointed to hear this news because I thought y’all had a good relationship. Glad to see you respond and that there’s room to clear up the miscommunication and continue working productively together!" a third comment read.
A fourth person volunteered to moderate a debate between the founders: "OK, let’s settle this once and for all. I will moderate a discussion between Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk… Time and place, guys… I’ll be there with my list of questions…."
