Hyderabad: Man Stole Alcohol Breath Analyzer From Cop, Nabbed by Police

Hyderabad: In a dramatic turn of events, on June 27, a person by the name Kothaplli Sravan Kumar, also known as Sunny, stole alcohol breath analyzer machine from traffic police during the drunk and driver checks.

Now, the police have apprehended one offender who snatched breath analyzer equipment from traffic police. Further, police also recovered the alcohol breath analyzer machine and one car that was used in the commission of the offense. 

Explaining the brief facts, the police said that on June 27th, when the Bowenpally Traffic Police were conducting drunk and drive checking at the Pulla Reddy Building, Traffic Point, New Bowenpally, as per the instructions by superior officers, And when the traffic police stopped a Swift Dzire car at about 12:50 AM, while BAS was being conducted on the driver of the vehicle, Kothaplli Sravan Kumar, all of a sudden he pushed the police officer on duty and snatched the breath analyzer forcibly, and he further sped away with his car.

A case was registered under U/S 353, 356, and 379 IPC at Bowenpally police station, and now the accused has been apprehended.
