‘She’s Too Young’: Manu Bhaker's Father Shuts Down Marriage Rumours with Neeraj Chopra

Viral Video: A video of Manu Bhaker’s mother, Sumedha Bhaker, meeting Neeraj Chopra has gone viral, with netizens shipping Neeraj Chopra and Manu Bhaker. Many joked that Manu Bhaker’s mother was checking the javelin star as a potential match for her daughter.

Following the viral memes and posts, Manu Bhaker’s father, Ram Kishan Bhaker, has opened up, sharing that she is “still too young” and they are “not thinking of her marriage.”

What did Manu Bhaker’s father Say?

“Manu is still very young. She is not even of marriageable age. I'm not even thinking about it right now.” Manu Bhaker’s father said: “Manu's mother considers Neeraj like her son,” he added. 

Following the wedding humor of Neeraj Chopra, Neeraj Chopra's uncle also commented, “Just as Neeraj brought home the medal and made the whole country aware of it, when he gets married, everyone will know about that too.”

Manu Bhaker and Neeraj Chopra are both from Haryana. While Manu is the most successful Indian woman shooter, Neeraj is the javelin star of India. 

Neeraj Chopra made history at the Tokyo Olympics by becoming the first Indian athlete to win an Olympic gold medal in athletics.

Manu Bhaker won a bronze medal in the women's 10 meter air pistol event of the recently concluded 2024 Paris Olympics. She became the first Indian female shooter to be on the Olympic podium.
