Video Captures Bangladesh Protestors Eating Leftovers in Sheikh Hasina's Palace, Vandalizing Bedroom
Protestors raid and vandalize Sheikh Hasina’s residence after her resignation, stealing items and eating leftovers amidst violent unrest.
The situation in Bangladesh has worsened as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has resigned after the protests and fled the country. Before this, the head of the army announced the formation of an interim government.
Just after the resignation, thousands of protestors entered former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s residence and began using various items. Some protestors were seen stealing things from the PM's residence, while others recorded videos of themselves eating food amidst the vandalized surroundings.

Amidst all this, a video has gone viral showing protestors entering Sheikh Hasina's palace, eating leftover food, and vandalizing the bedroom.
The video also shows protestors stealing items like pillows, mattresses, and other belongings. The protestors forcefully entered Sheikh Hasina’s residence, Ganabhaban, waving the Bangladeshi flag. Some of them took photos while sitting inside the offices of the former PM’s palace.
Hasina had been in power since 2009 and had ignored calls for her resignation for weeks. She was eventually forced to flee after violent protests resulted in the deaths of over 100 people.
