Bengaluru: A resident of an apartment in Bengaluru was captured on video ruining a Pookalam, a floral arrangement made by children in the complex to celebrate Onam.The incident reportedly took place in the common area of Monarch Serenity Apartment Complex in East Bengaluru's Hegde Nagar, leaving residents and social media users shocked.A clip of the incident, now going viral, shows the woman speaking in English and Malayalam while destroying the Pookalam. She was also heard justifying her actions by referencing both the Constitution of India and the Holy Bible. "Let me see what the Constitution of India says. Even the Bible, as per the Bible, this [space] is not for putting any Pookalam here," she said.In the video, a man is heard asking his wife to stop the woman from further damaging the Pookalam, to which she replied, "I don't want to touch this woman.
