Viral: A few foreign visitors to New Delhi found themselves in an awkward situation when some homeless children followed them about for a time and demanded money. Two or three girls hopped onboard their autorickshaw and began begging them for money all the time. While another girl angrily sprinted towards the speeding car and gripped its back handle to harass the visitors by persistently pleading for money even after they refused, another girl had already grabbed hold of the vehicle's rods.

The incident that terrified and demoralized international visitors to the nation's capital was captured on camera and shared on X. They were being bothered by the beggars, who chased after them and hopped on their autorickshaw in an attempt to get money into their pockets. The scene was captured on camera by one of the tourists, who exclaimed, "Oh my God, this is so much!" A guy sitting on the other side of the car said, "Can't believe what's happening right now." They cried, "We need help," as a group of beggars almost attacked them and demanded money from them. The visitor was heard exclaiming, "This is not safe, this is not safe," as they were recording their experiences in New Delhi.

Videos of similar incidents that foreign visitors to India's capital city had to deal with may be found online in numerous places. A little girl was seen pleading for money from a foreigner and YouTuber while they were strolling around the streets of New Delhi with his female companion in a video that went viral on the platform last year. "Give me some rupees. Give me rupees, please," she yelled, running after the gang of visitors.
