Following a 13-year wait, Jadeja and India, captained by Rohit Sharma, won the trophy last month at the Kensington Oval by thrillingly overcoming South Africa by 7 runs in the final in Barbados on June 29.At the age of 17 and just beginning his career with India's under-19 team, Jadeja's mother passed away in 2005. The all-rounder ended with 515 runs, at an average of 21.45, and claimed 54 wickets at an economy rate of 7.13 in T20Is.
