BCCI announces 16-member squad for Afghanistan T20Is; Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli return

The BCCI on Sunday announced a 16-member T20I squad for the Afghanistan series. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have returned to the side for the contest.

The series holds significance because of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in June. India will look to build a team for the ICC competition.

India’s Squad: Rohit Sharma (Captain), Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Sanju Samson (wk), Shivam Dube.
