Police release statements in Christian Oliver plane crash
local police, Royal St. Vincent and Grenines Police Force (RSVG) have released two statements via social media after accident, saying aircraft faced difficulty soon after it took off.
"Moments after taking off, aircraft experienced difficulties and plummeted into ocean,” said police in first statement, ding, “Local divers, fishermen and coast guard officials began a rescue operation soon after crash. bodies of Oliver, 51 and his two daughters Mita, 10 and Annik, 12 were pulled from sea. aircraft's pilot and owner Robert Sachs was also killed in crash.

A small, one (1) engine aircraft, Registration Number N4023B, owned and piloted by Mr. Robert Sachs of Bequia, crashed into sea, one (1) nautical mile West of Petit Nevis, sometime after midday (earlier today). re were three (3) passengers on board, namely: Mr. Christian Klepser, 51 years old, from United States of America, and his two (2) daughters, Mita Klepser and Annik Klepser, 10 and 12 years old, respectively. aircraft went airborne from J.F. Mitchell Airport in Paget Farm about 12:11 p.m. for St. Lucia as its final destination. Moments after taking off, aircraft experienced difficulties and plummeted into ocean."
“Fishermen and divers from Paget Farm went to scene of incident in ir boats to render assistance. SVG Coast Guard was informed and quickly traveled to Paget Farm, Bequia, to le in rescue efforts. Four (4) bodies of aforementioned persons were recovered from aircraft/sea by Coast Guard personnel and were later pronounced deceased by a medical practitioner,” it ded.
