A few weeks ago in September, it was announced that Amitabh Bachchan would be receiving the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his lifetime contribution to the Indian film Industry. The Dadasaheb Phalke Award was first introduced in 1969 and is only given to those who have dedicated their lives to the betterment and advancement of the Indian film Industry.
