Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump will engage in a historic US presidential debate on Thursday at CNN’s debate in Atlanta at 9 p.m. ET (6:30 am IST). marking a critical moment in the 2024 presidential election. 

Biden and Trump's preparedness for the historic debate 

Trump, known for his combative style, faces pressure to strike a balance between assertiveness and discipline, having been criticized for unruliness in past debates. "I think I have been preparing for it for my whole life... We'll do very well," Trump asserted in an interview with Newsmax, highlighting his readiness for the clash.

On the other hand US President Biden, 81, has focused on dispelling concerns about his mental acuity during his preparation at Camp David. His campaign strategy aims to portray Trump as unfit for office, emphasizing concerns over the former president's legal entanglements and controversial rhetoric.

The 90-minute US presidential debate will take place on Thursday, June 27, at 9 p.m. ET at the network’s Atlanta studios.
