The South Korean boy band BTS has renewed its contract with their label HYBE post 2025. All 7 members will make a comeback as a group after fulfilling their mandatory military service. The announcement was made by the entertainment company on Wednesday.

BTS to make comeback in 2025?
HYBE released the statement on Wednesday, which read, “We have completed the board of directors' resolution to renew the exclusive contracts of the seven members of BTS, artists under BigHit Music. With all members signing a second contract renewal, the group will be able to continue even after 2025 when they complete their military service."
Last year, the K-pop powerhouse announced a hiatus from group activities, focussing on their respective solo careers. Soon after, Jin and J-hope enlisted in the South Korean military. All able-bodied men in South Korea are required to serve in the military for at least 18 months.

BTS to complete their mandatory military service
After a year-long discussion over whether BTS deserved an exemption, Jin, the group's eldest member, enrolled in the military last year. J-Hope, another member of his band, began his mandatory military service in April. SUGA, the third member, will begin his service on Friday. According to rumours, the band may reconvene around 2025, when all seven of its members will have completed their military duty.
BTS, a seven-member group that debuted on June 13, 2013, with No More Dream under Big Hit Entertainment (now HYBE), has unquestionably left an everlasting imprint on the worldwide music landscape. They are today one of the most well-known and famous artists in the world.
