German FM: US troops in Germany are important

Germany's foreign minister said on Tuesday that his government has not been given details about a US plan to pull thousands of troops out of Germany. Heiko Maas was asked about the matter during a visit to Warsaw, a day after US President Donald Trump announced that he was ordering a major reduction in US troop strength in Germany, from around 34,500 personnel down to 25,000.
