PM Modi gets heartfelt thanks, kiss on hand from US Kashmiri Pandits

In a bid to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the move of abrogating Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, a few members from the community of Kashmiri Pandits met the PM ahead of the Mega Event.
While the delegation met the PM and greeted him, one member got emotional and in a heartfelt gesture kissed the PM on his hand and thanked him.
Kashmiri Pandits getting emotional
Surinder Kaul, a member of the Kashmiri Pandit community thanked the PM on behalf of 7,00,000 Kashmiri Pandits all over the globe for such a historic decision and assured him that the community will work with the government to fulfill your dream for a Kashmir which is peaceful, full of growth where people are all happy. He then got emotional and kissed the PM on his hand.

The delegation also submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister, requesting him to set up a task force under the Home Ministry to develop the region of Jammu and Kashmir and also to bring the Kashmiri community together.
'Howdy Modi' event
The mega event 'Howdy, Modi!' is all set to commence in few hours at the NRG Stadium in Houston where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address around 50,000 people. The event will witness a cultural diaspora and will focus on the India-US relationship as well as the Indo-Americans. The event is hosted by the Texas India Forum (TIF), a non-profit organization. US President Donald Trump will attend the event and share the stage with PM Modi.
