PM Modi's arrival in NY a pleasant wait, claims Syed Akbaruddin
Syed Akbaruddin, India's Ambassador & UN Representative took to Twitter to share his excitement while awaiting PM Modi's arrival in New York City on Monday.
Syed Akbaruddin, India's Ambassador & United Nations Representative took to Twitter to share his excitement while awaiting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's arrival in New York City. He tweeted saying that 'waiting on the tarmac was never so pleasant'. Syed Akbaruddin also spoke about the recreational vehicle which made the wait a pleasant experience. The UN representative later uploaded a picture on his social media handle of him greeting the Prime Minister as he arrived at the JFK airport.
PM Modi arrives in New York for UNGA session
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in New York on Sunday night to participate in the 74th Session of the UN General Assembly after addressing 50,000 Indian-Americans present at the 'Howdy, Modi' event in the NRG Stadium. PM Modi has arrived at the JFK International Airport after 10 PM (New York time). He has a packed bilateral and multi-lateral agenda over the next five days, including nine key speeches at high-level summits and plurilateral engagements during the UN General Assembly session and on its sidelines.

After the 'Howdy, Modi' event in Texas, PM Modi has a jam-packed schedule in New York City. According to the US local time, PM Modi will set out at 10 AM to attend the UNSG’s Summit on Climate Change in New York in the United Nations Building.
