The Yash starrer has been rocking the box office on a national as well as global scale as it has already amassed more than Rs 200 crore at the box office worldwide. Not only that but many celebs have also heaped praised on the Prashant Neel directorial. Joining the ranks is Tamil superstar Vijay.
Fondly called as Ilayathalapathy by his ardent followers, the actor finally watched 'KGF' on January 17 at a private screening in Chennai. Turns out that the actor really enjoyed the film and Rocking Star Yash's performance in particular. Other than Rocky Bhai's amazing screen presence, Vijay was also all praise for the film's storyline and other technical aspects. The actor also extended his congratulations to Karthik Gowda, who was the creative executive producer behind Sandalwood's mammoth project. Overall, it looks like Yash has earned a new and valuable fan in Vijay.
Coming to 'KGF', the film has been doing a stellar job at the box office and has also rocked TamilNadu with some impressive collections. Most amazing of all was the fact that the Prashant Neel directorial raked in the moolah in its Hindi version as well as it minted more than Rs 43 crore. In doing so, it became the fourth highest grossing Hindi dubbed film of all time behind 'Baahubali 2', '2.0' and 'Baahubali: The Beginning'.
Vijay, on the other hand, is basking in the glory of his latest release 'Sarkar' which stormed the box office as well. He has already begun working on his next project which has been tentatively titled as 'Thalapathy 63'.
