North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was reportedly seen riding a white horse on October 15. Many have regarded the move as evocative propaganda images foretelling significant decisions as the deadline for US movement on nuclear talks nears. This was followed by a flock of social media users who on a lighter note shared their amusement through memes. Kim wore a long, light-brown coat while riding up snow-covered Mount Paektu on horseback. The location and the animal are symbols associated with the Kim family’s dynastic rule, cited news agencies. The highest point on the Korean Peninsula is sacred to North Koreans, and Kim has visited it before making major decisions, such as the 2013 execution of his powerful uncle, and his 2018 entrance into diplomacy with South Korea and the US. Yet this very event has become a glorious meme on social media for netizens have drawn comparisons with Russian President Vladimir Putin's previous horse ride.
Comparison with Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin was earlier seen riding a horse. Kim's current white horse rise seems to have reminded netizens of Putin. They have collaged the two leaders' images claiming that the two are getting along very well in a meme. Another user predicts what would happen if different world leaders ride horses.

Putin would have done it naked. Holding a rifle. Chasing down a bear. Then wrestling it.

Boris would have fallen off it.
Trump wouldn’t get on it.#worldleadersonahorse
Other comparison and memes on Kim's horse ride
A set of netizens also challenged Trump to level up and also ride a horse. A user also pointed out the expressions of Kim and the horse while a fourth drew a comparison with Napoleon Bonaparte's painting. Some users also suggested dubbing the song: "Lovely, lovely Horse".
