Lankan govt orders police probe into ex-LTTE deputy leader's claim of killing 2,000 to 3,000 troops
The Sri Lankan police have ordered a probe into an alleged statement by former Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) deputy leader Karuna Amman, claiming that he had murdered over 2,000 security forces on behalf of the Tamil separatist group, the government said on Monday.
