Border Security Force (BSF) has asked locals residing along the 4,096 km-long India-Bangladesh international border to not undertake unnecessary movement in the frontier areas especially during the night in the wake of the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government in Dhaka, officials said on Tuesday. The families of the persons killed in Bangladesh's student protests on Tuesday placed 11-point demands, including rehabilitation by providing jobs, before the interim government which is set to be formed to replace the ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina's regime. On the political situation in Bangladesh, Former Indian High Commissioner To Bangladesh Pinak Ranjan Chakravarty said, "Bangladesh has seen many such crises in the past. It has happened because of many reasons, basically their internal ones. It cannot be ruled out that there are foreign forces in Bangladesh who did not want the Hasina government to continue. Her feelings and agony are understandable. India will wait and watch the developments in Bangladesh. A new government will be formed and we will deal with it as we have done in the past. We have even dealt with military dictators in Bangladesh after 1975. Some people are taking advantage of the chaos to attack Hindu homes, and temples, and to loot their property. There could be an exodus of Hindus from Bangladesh. Alertness on the borders is a pre-requisite to deal with this situation." This is the third time when her family is being targeted, they are done now and it will be the people of Bangladesh who will pay the price for their mistake, said Sheikh Hasina's son Sajeeb Wazed Joy. Sajeeb Wazed Joy said that all this is being done by Islamist mob, they are not protesters anymore, they have become terrorists, militants. Protesters don't loot or murder or plunder temples. I see them as terrorists.There is no secular democratic force in Bangladesh right now,  this is what Americans do around the world, he said. People who are agitating in Bangladesh are terrorists, militants and will pay the price for their own mistake, said Hasina's son Sajeeb Wazed.  Speaking exclusively to Republic TV, Sheikh Hasina informed that her mother has not made any asylum request so far.
