Commuters criticise government

As traffic situation worsens in Manila, the spokesperson Salvador Panelo for Rodrigo Duterte has said that if commuters want to arrive early they must leave early. This has led to many Filipinos slamming Mr. Panelo for 'being out of touch with reality'. Commuters are reportedly revealing their hardships with one saying that it takes students three hours to reach class and that situation aggravated by three major train breakdowns recently. Mr Panelo has since promised to take public transportation to the presidential palace on Friday.

Filipino President has not been left out of their criticism either. Duterte Government recently purchased an ex-US military plane for USD $39.9m for use as his private jet. The government reportedly said that the jet shall be delivered by next year and will be used by other senior officials and in crisis situations which did not convince some citizens.
