Margot Robbie takes inspiration from Twitter for her new role-playing a conservative journalist in the movie 'Bombshell', alongside Charlize Theron!!!
Margot Robbie has found a new and innovative way to put social media to good use. According to reports she used Twitter to prepare for her role in 'Bombshell'! The 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' told resources about how she transformed herself for the role of a conservative news producer and aspiring broadcast journalist.
Took inspiration from those she followed
Robbi said she would follow young girls on social media platforms and follow their post, they were very vocal about their views and political opinion and Robbie found it very fascinating because they were all her age, according to her.
In the upcoming movie, Robbie will take on the role of Kayla, a character who takes on the task of representing all the victims of sexual harassment and misconduct at the hands of late Fox News boss Roger Ailes.
Soldiering on despite initial inhibitions
Robbie also stated that she was rattled and intimidated by the time she was done reading the script. But through her research, she decided that she wanted to do it and be a part of it, just because she thought it was important to tell, and be a part of, and support in any way that she could.
She will be joined on the big screen along with Charlize Theron who plays Megyn Kelly and Nicole Kidman as Gretchen Carlson.
The movie 'Bombshell' is set to release on December 20 of this year. The project was first announced in May 2017 following Ailes' death, with Roach confirmed as director the following year. Much of the cast joined that summer and filming began in October 2018 in Los Angeles.
Currently, Robbie is busy shooting the sequel for the much-awaited sequel to the Suicide Squad, where she will be seen reprising her role as Harley Quinn.
