Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that bipartisan support for Israel is "one of the foundations of the American-Israeli alliance" but avoided saying whom he hopes will win the upcoming US presidential race.
At the same time, Netanyahu heaped praise on US President Donald Trump for isolating Iran, and a number of measures seen as favouring Israel.
In his term in office, Trump has recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital and moved the American embassy there and recognized Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights.
Recently, the US brokered diplomatic pacts between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan.
"After not having a new peace agreement with an Arab state for 26 years, we've had three peace agreements in six weeks," he added.
