Lebanese and international rescue teams spent Thursday digging through wreckage of the port complex in Beirut, in the hope of finding survivors of Tuesday's devastating explosion that killed more than 130 people.

Specially-trained dogs were brought in to try to detect people who may have found air pockets under the rubble.

Damaged hospitals are still struggling to deal with the thousands who were left wounded by the blast.

One injured patient struggled to contain his emotions as he gave a graphic account of what he had witnessed.

And the mother of an injured 7 year old boy said she and her family just wanted to leave Lebanon and live somewhere better.
