While Imran Khan's knowledge of history and geography has already been put to display, this time his shoddy mathematical skills were out for full public view too at the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) meeting. 

Following the UNHRC meeting, Imran Khan in a tweet claimed that 58 countries joined Pakistan to push India to 'stop the use of force, lift the siege, remove restrictions and protect Kashmiris' following the abrogation of Article 370. 

However, UNHRC only has 47 member-nations.

He said, "I commend the 58 countries that joined Pakistan in Human Rights Council on 10 Sept reinforcing demands of int community for India to stop use of force, lift siege, remove other restrictions, respect & protect Kashmiris' rights & resolve Kashmir dispute through UNSC resolutions."

MEA's statement

Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar addressed a press briefing on Thursday and reiterated India's stand at the UNHRC on Pakistan's false claims on Jammy and Kashmir. Responding to questions on India's statement at the UNHRC in Geneva on Tuesday, MEA Spokesperson said that India responded to Pakistan's lies and distorted claims using the right to reply at the session.

"At the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), our delegation put forth our stand. We responded to Pakistan's lies & distorted statement using the right to reply," Raveesh Kumar said.

Making an embarrassing gaffe, Imran Khan had claimed that Germany and Japan share a border. This was not the first time that Imran Khan exhibited his poor geography, as back on December 18, 2018, the Prime Minister of Pakistan making a blunder by calling Africa, the continent, a country, while addressing his nation.  

Speaking at the OIC, Oxford University degree holder, Khan brought to attention the phenomenon of 'Islamophobia' and accused the West of it, furthermore he stated that Islam has nothing to do with terrorism. While doing so, the cricketer-turned-politician gave an example of Kamikaze of Japan in the Second World War and said how no one blamed the "Japenese religion" for it. The absurd correspondence fetched him flak considering there is no such thing as 'Japenese religion' but Shinto and Buddhism are Japan's two major religions.
