Now, Pakistan hits out at Twitter & Facebook for suspending its hate-fuelling accounts; whines about 'Indian staff'
After having been completely foiled in its attempts to internationalise the Kashmir issue by a blatant mix of spreading fake news, attempting to perpetrate terrorism and cause violence and unrest, and by alarmist fearmongering despite the situation in Jammu and Kashmir being normal following the abrogation of Article 370 pertaining to J&K, Pakistan has now taken on Twitter and Facebook for suspending the ISU handles that were being used to spread misinformation against India.

No less than the DG-ISPR of Pakistan - Army spokesperson Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor - has tweeted on the matter, blaming the Indian staff of the social media companies.
The suspension of Pakistani Twitter accounts comes amid a relentless campaign by Republic TV for the social media companies to shut down accounts - especially its blue-tick verified handles - that have been spewing venom and fake news over the situation in Kashmir following its full integration with India after revocation of special status.
The Twitter Clampdown On Pakistan
As per Pakistani newspaper Dawn, numerous Pakistanis have witnessed their Twitter handles being blocked in the last week, even as the Pakistani government, including its President and Prime Minister, made appeals to their people to continue to use social media as a weapon.
Republic TV had begun its campaign against Pakistan's fake news after Pakistan ISI-backed stooges had fatally doctored a video from a Republic TV debate in an effort to spread a hateful agenda. Subsequent to this, Republic flagged a number of handles from across the border who were doing the same, including ministers from Imran Khan's cabinet.
Subsequent to this, the J&K Police also issued notice to Twitter telling it to furnish details of specific handles that were spreading anti-India fake news.
The Reason For Pakistan's Frustration
The frustration over social media handles being suspended comes at a time when all avenues for the terror-friendly nation are closing in its nefarious attempts. Recently, the UNSC refused to interfere over Kashmir after holding a closed-doors meeting based on China's pushing Pakistan's request. Both the US and Russia have upheld that Kashmir is a bilateral matter between India and Pakistan, while India has also turned up the heat against Pakistan by telling it in no uncertain terms that the only conversation India and Pakistan should be having over Kashmir is about PoK.
