Pakistan PM Imran Khan calls Kashmir the 'only' issue between India-Pak, doesn’t mention terrorism on soil

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan in an attempt to yet again gloss over the country's terror situation has accused the Indian elections for deadlock over dialogue between two countries. 

While addressing at a Pakistan China investment forum at Beijing, Imran Khan flayed Indian elections for rousing 'anti-Pakistan rhetoric' but turned a blind eye to terrorism breeding in his country, by stating that the two neighbour countries have 'only one issue' citing Kashmir.

He said, "There is only one issue between Pakistan and India, that is of Kashmir, which has to be resolved by both countries. We also hope that Indian election will be over soon so that there is no incentive to get votes by anti-Pakistan rhetoric and once we hope there is election are over in India, which ever government the people of India chooses we hope from then onward we will develop a stabilised relationship with our neighbour and there is a possibility if we can resolve ."

Further reiterating that Kashmir is the 'only' issue that can be resolved through dialogue.

"We only have one issue that is the issue of Kashmir which two stablised country can always resolve through dialogue and we believe there is a solution. Once that happen just imagine." he added.

 A few days earlier, The Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police paraded a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrosist amid a joint press brief over foreign terrorists arrested in Baramulla, who then made explicit admissions. 

The terrorist identifying himself as Pakistani, Mohammad Waqar Awan, a resident of Mohalla Miana in Mianwali area of Punjab in Pakistan, divulged the details of his training being conducted in Pakistan occupied Kashmir's Muzaffarabad and Republic TV learnt that the 27-year-old terrorist was trained at the residence of 26/11 mastermind Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, who is currently out on bail granted by Lahore High Court in 2015.

FEB 3-2018

During questioning, the two men told the police that they were located at a camp in Islamabad. A large number of other inmates at the camp were Pakistani teens, most of them from the restive Balochistan province. Some of the boys roped in for training were as young as 10 years old.

During the overnight gunbattle, a terrorist who has been identified as Adil, was caught. Police said Adil had recently joined the Hizbul Mujahideen group. 

26 JULY 2016

Four terrorists were killed, and one was captured alive by security forces during an encounter in Nowgam sector near the LIne of Control or LoC in Kupwara district

27 AUGUST 2017

A Pakistani terrorist was caught alive after an encounter in North Kashmir. 22-year-old Javed Ahmed from Muzaffargarh in southwestern area of Punjab in Pakistan, also known as Sajjad and Abu Ubedullah. Four of his companions were killed in a 20-hour-long gun battle in Baramulla, North Kashmir.

A 22 Year old Mohammad Naveed confessed  that he was in India for 45 days and that he travelled to Udhampur in a truck.
