After being confronted by India and the international community over its homegrown terror including the Jaish-e-Mohammed, Pakistan has used India's internal politics to save its face in front of the world.

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has been on an interview-giving spree to salvage his country's image in front of the world.

On Monday, the Pakistan FM speaking to the country's news channel said that Congress president Rahul Gandhi asked for documentary evidence from the Modi government.

Congress has questioned the IAF operation, politicising the Forces' commendable action against terror, giving Pakistan an opportunity to spin a narrative where it can tell the world it has no role in creating and supporting terror groups in its soil, and distract the international community from pressurizing it from acting against groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Pakistan's government's strategy is probably to use India's opposition's political attacks against the Modi government as its go-to defence. Imran Khan's Foreign Minister in the interview had also remarked how in the days following the Pulwama terror attack all the Indian Opposition parties had supported the government, but later, after the all party meet on February 27, revolted.

Qureshi's statements came on a day that the Congress went all-out to question the forces over the potency of the strikes, with Navjot Singh Sidhu shamefully asking if the IAF had gone there to uproot trees or uproot terrorists.
