As Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan met the Pakistan army chief General Bajwa, army spokesperson Asif Ghafoor and Director-General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), netizens on Twitter called out the nominal powers of the Khan and to Pakistan's embarrassment highlighted how the military-terror deep state is the real wielder of power in the country.
Pakistani journalist Naila Inayat took to her social media handle and tweeted a picture of Imran Khan seated on a sofa, across him army spokesperson Asif Ghafoor was seated and beside him was ISI DG Lt. Gen Faiz Hameed and army chief of Pakistan General Qamar Javed Bajwa. Amid this, just about everyone wondered who is the 'boss' among them, a pertinent point given that Imran Khan even had to be chaperoned by Pak Army chief Bajwa when he went to meet US President Donald Trump last week.
Pakistan Journalist Calls Out 'Patriotic Pak Warriors':
Pakistan journalist Naila Inayat on the 20 years of Kargil war between India and Pakistan took to her social media handle and exposed the so-called "patriotic Pakistani twitter warriors" saying that there was no word on the 20 years of Kargil War from them on Friday. She went onto add that it is "unsurprising" from a country which did not even its martyred soldiers of the Kargil War.
Pakistan peddling fake news:
On Sunday, Pakistan's army spokesperson Asif Ghafoor shared a video claiming that it is an 'admission of Indian failure' during the February 27 fight between the two countries after which wing-commander of the Indian Air Force Abhinandan Varthaman was captured. However, the video was from 2015 in which IAF veteran Denzil Keelor talked about the 1962 Indo-China war and 1965 Indo-Pakistan war.
In yet another incident Pakistan media had said that PM Modi is ready for talks with Imran Khan, however, MEA clarified that talks with Pak cannot happen in midst of cross-border terrorism. The ministry statement said that there is a constant try from the Pakistani side peddle fake news.
