The Egyptian, Jordanian, and Palestinian foreign ministers on Saturday urged Israel to resume talks with Palestinians to reach a settlement based on the two-state solution.
It would establish east Jerusalem as the capital of a future Palestinian state on territory Israel captured in 1967.
Standing along with his Egyptian and Jordanian counterparts, Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malki told a news conference that the Palestinian Authority is ready for cooperation with the US administration of President-elect Joe Biden.
Their meeting came a month before the inauguration of Biden.
The Palestinians say they have suffered numerous setbacks from Trump's administration and have claimed his government has a pro-Israel agenda.
Trump has sidelined the Palestinian Authority, recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital, moved the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv, slashed assistance for the Palestinians, and reversed course on the illegitimacy of Israeli settlements on land claimed by the Palestinians.
Al-Malki also said they have returned to security coordination with Israel, which has sent a "message, for the first time, that they are abiding by all agreements" they have had with the Palestinians.
In May, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas announced that the Palestinian Authority would cut ties with Israel, including security coordination, saying they are no longer bound by agreements going back to the early 1990s, following Israel's pledge to annex large parts of the occupied West Bank.
