Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Tuesday, has shared the pictures he took with the US politicians that he interacted with during the ‘Howdy, Modi’ event. PM Modi took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to share his pictures with Carolyn B. Maloney and Sheila Jackson Lee of the US Democratic Party. PM Modi thanked Maloney for visiting Houston.

PM Modi thanks US Congressmen

Prime Minister Modi also expressed his happiness over meeting with Representative Sheila Jackson Lee. He described her as a veteran member of the US Congress.

American diplomats and lawmakers have said that the 'Howdy, Modi' diaspora rally addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump was a tremendous display of bigger ideas and visionary leadership to further accelerate the Indo-US strategic partnership. Prime Minister Modi and US President Trump on Sunday addressed the mega 'Howdy, Modi' event with over 50,000 Indian-Americans present at the NRG Stadium in Houston. The American leaders have said that the Indian diaspora community in the United States is unparalleled. The two world leaders highlighted the strong Indo-US ties and White House shared pictures from the event with the flag of both the countries. 

PM Modi's schedule in New York for September 24 

PM Narendra Modi has a power-packed and tight schedule on Tuesday, September 24 during his United States visit. Key highlights of PM Modi's US trip for Tuesday are his meeting with US President Donald Trump, commemorating Mahatma Gandhi's 150 birth anniversary, and being presented with the Goalkeepers Global Goals Awards 2019 from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

On Monday, PM Modi made his way towards his engagement at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) after the electrifying 'Howdy, Modi!' eventHe also had six meetings with various world leaders in two hours and twenty-two minutes.
