Poor lost Kangaroo rescued after running amok in Australia's Wagga Wagga
While most of us bear the brunt of usual traffic that engulfs the cities, a rebel Kangaroo decided to defy the traffic laws and skipped a red signal. Clearly lost, the marsupial was later rescued, treated for minor injuries and released.

While most of us bear the brunt of usual traffic that engulfs the cities, a rebel Kangaroo decided to defy the traffic laws and skipped a red signal. Clearly lost, the marsupial was later rescued, treated for minor injuries and released.
The incident took place in Australia's Wagga Wagga, where a 3-year-old eastern gray kangaroo was seen hopping on streets busy with vehicles and pedestrians getting on with their routines. A video shows the unusual sight of the Kangaroo making its way through the concrete jungle. Here it is:

Apparently, the young kangaroo skipped the lights at Berry and Morgan street. Netizens cited various reasons and posted hilarious tweets as reactions:
That's 3 points and $700 — his license is gone.

The kangaroo, which was lost and likely scared, was eventually rescued hiding amidst the shopping carts at a marketplace in Wagga. He was rushed to Kooringal Veterinary Hospital and doctors declared that he had suffered minor injuries. The hospital in its Facebook post said that the kangaroo was later released after being treated:
Meanwhile, people have also appreciated the doctors for their efforts to treat the young kangaroo:
"Wonderful news, great job everyone," a netizen said
"Just saw pics of this fella jumping downtown. Very happy to see him safe!"
"Omg he was a beautiful boy xx poor guy was pretty stressed by the time we got there 😞 Lesley Winchester thank you for calling us and helping. Nurse Rhys thank you for transportation to the clinic. Dianne Lane and John Palmer thank you for helping with release. Finally thank you to marketplace security for keeping the crowds at bay. Good luck special guy"
While some of them had a different take on him hiding near a market place:
"Did he get all his shopping done?"
" He just wanted to do some shopping 🛒"
A similar incident happened last year when an escaped kangaroo in Germany led authorities on a chase before jumping into a pool.
