As Prabhas celebrate his 40th birthday, Anushka Shetty’s special wish stood out. She shared a clip of one of their movies to wish him happiness and success.
Reaching a new decade in one’s life is often considered an important milestone. And that’s what happened with Prabhas as he turned 40 on Wednesday. The 30s definitely would definitely hold a special significance for him as he became a household name with the blockbuster Baahubali franchise in this decade, but the actor’s fans, co-stars and friends were excited about the latest milestone in his life. There were wishes galore for the Baahubali star, the ‘Darlings’, as his fans like to refer to themselves, who ensured their greetings for him stayed in the trends on social media. However, it was his Baahubali co-star and rumoured girlfriend Anushka Shetty who had the best message for the occasion. More than the words, wishing him happiness and success, it was a stylish throwback clip of one of their movies that stood out in the message.
As Prabhas turned 40 on October 23, there were many celebrities like Kajal Aggarwal, Rana Daggubati, Ram Charan, who wished the Baahubali star during the early part of the day. Anushka Shetty, however, wished him towards the end of the day, when a few hours were left. She shared a clip from ther hit Billa. The duo is seen making their way out of a swanky car in style. They had their contrasting styles too as Prabhas is dressed in all-white, while Anushka Shetty is dressed in all-black. The pair is then seen exchanging a glance briefly, before walking with a lot of class, in slow motion.
Prabhas-Anushka story
Prabhas and Anushka Shetty have been rumoured to be dating, since they shared screen space in movies like Billa and Mirchi. However, the rumour mills went on an overdrive after they worked together in the Baahubali franchise and showcased their fiery chemistry as Baahubali and Devasena. Rumours of their ‘marriage’ too have surfaced, but they have maintained that they are just friends. They sometimes get spotted together and their praises for each other’s work keeps their fans excited.
The duo recently were seen together when Baahubali became the first non-English film to feature at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Prabhas had then posted on Instagram, “It's a #RoyalReunion in London with my #Baahubali team! Can't wait to experience the LIVE rendition of @baahubalimovie score at the @royalalberthall this evening." The movie received a standing ovation.
