Rakul Preet Singh has evidently garnered a fan following for herself through her work in the South Indian film industry. She has worked with Tollywood A-listers like Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun and Junior NTR. Rakul is regarded as one of the leading Telugu film actors and has made her presence felt in Hindi films as well. She made her debut in Bollywood with Yaariyan in 2014 and then featured in the 2019 romantic-comedy film De De Pyaar De along with Ajay Devgn and Tabu. Though she started off playing supporting characters in Telugu and Tamil films, Rakul had reportedly walked away from the lead female role of a Prabhas starrer film in 2011.

Back in 2011, Prabhas starred in a film titled Mr Perfect. The film starred Prabhas alongside Taapsee Pannu, Kajal Agarwal, Murali Mohan, Prakash Raj, Sayaji Shinde, Nassar and Kaushal Manda in pivotal roles. The film was a success at the box-office and was received positively by both critics and audience members. The film reportedly helped Taapsee and Kajal Agarwal carve a path for themselves in the entertainment industry.
Rakul Preet Singh was roped in to play the part which was eventually played by Kajal Agarwal. As per reports, the actor also shot a few scenes for the film opposite Prabhas. Rakul reportedly worked on the film for four days and walked out. She quit the film in order to try out her luck in modelling. As per reports, Mr Perfect was supposed to be Rakul Preet Singh's first film but she walked out of the project.
On the work front
Rakul Preet Singh will next be seen in the Riteish Deshmukh and Sidharth Malhotra starrer Marjaavaan. The action drama film is scheduled to release on November 15, 2019. Besides this, Rakul Preet Singh will also be a part of the Shankar directorial film Indian 2.
