A bus carrying 33 passengers overturns on its way from Paris to London

The Passengers who were travelling from Paris to London reportedly suffered injuries after the bus overturned in the northern France region. There were about 33 passengers who were reported injured. Minimum of four passengers suffered minor injuries while the rest of them were minorly injured according to the Somme authorities.
The bus was carrying passengers of different nationalities
The bus belonged to the FlixBus company. It was reported that it overturned while on its way from Paris to London. One of the french newspapers reported that there were passengers belonging to different nationalities on the bus, there were 10 British nationals, 11 French nationals, two Romanians, Five Americans, one Australian, Spanish, Mauritian, a Japenese and one from SriLanka.
The bus overturned due to wet weather
The pictures of the bus crash revealed the bus lying on the side of the road with broken windows with a large hole on one side. International media reported that the crash happened as the bus tipped in the wet weather while taking a turn from the A1 motorway, which is considered as France’s busiest route. The emergency services including police, ambulance and fire brigade immediate reached the site of the accident. The normal traffic resumed after 1 pm.
All passengers provided with appropriate assistance
It was also reported that the Russian passengers were severely injured but that later they were reported safe. The officials of the FlixBus informed that they are in close contact with the local authorities to find out the exact cause of the accident. They further said that medical aid is being provided to the passengers to ensure they receive appropriate support. The company also has an emergency number for the families and relatives of the numbers.
The unusual fall
In the city of Pittsburgh, an unusual incident took place which even astonished the morning commuters who generally take public transport. It was reported that a bus, while it stopped at the red light, fell backwards into a large sinkhole that opened up. The front half of the bus kept hanging several feet above the ground. The bus belonged to the Port Authority and was reported to stop at the red light when the incident happened. The Port Authority of Allegheny County officials informed international media that the bus fell backwards in a rectangular hole that opened up beneath the bus. The hole was huge enough that half of the bus fell into it. The sight was truly surprising for the local people.
