EAM Jaishankar meets foreign ministers from Ukraine and Italy

On September 26, during the United Nations General Assembly, the Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar engaged in 11 meetings with counterparts of other countries. Jaishankar held bilateral talks with the foreign ministers of China, Australia, Ukraine, and Italy. The meetings addressed several issues which included energy, upcoming technology and strengthening the bilateral ties. Jaishankar tweeted about his meetings.
Jaishankar meets Chinese FM
The Foreign minister discussed various issues with his counterparts. After his meeting with the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, he tweeted that the meeting was helpful in taking the relationship further and making the bond stronger. In his other tweet he further added that after meeting the Czech Foreign Minister Tomas Petricek, they discussed India’s partnership with the Visegrad Group, Czech Republic and the European Union. The Indian Foreign minister felt happy as he shared in his tweet.

Jaishankar strengthen bilateral ties
The bilateral talks with the Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne were productive. Both sides agreed to enhance the quality of their relationship. S Jaishankar, with his meeting with Gent Cakaj, Foreign Minister of Albania he said that India will work towards creating a contemporary framework for enhancing the contemporary relationships. The Ukraine counterpart Vadym Prystaiko after his conversation with S. Jaishankar acknowledged that there was a productive exchange of views on several issues including energy security, technology collaboration, and business possibilities. Prystaiko further appreciated his optimistic approach during the bilateral talks.

India and Itlay to work on the contemporary framework
Later, S Jaishankar also met with the Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio. Both sides agreed to take ahead the bilateral ties. Both the nations agreed to work together on nation-building and in global affairs. Jaishankar in his meeting with Belarus FM Vladimir Makei discussed economic collaboration possibilities and tourism. The success of all the meetings was tweeted.
